This rubbing is of Margaret Peyton c.1484. She is buried in Isleham, Cambridgeshire. She is known as "The Lace Lady" because of her beautiful brocaded gown. Lady Margaret is wearing the traditional butterfly headdress of the time and her hair is hidden in a rich-looking caul. (Wires were attached to the caul to present the effect shown).
The Lace Lady rubbing measures approximately 15 by 30 inches. She will arrive ready for mounting and framing
