This is one of my favorite brass rubbings! It depicts Lady Margaret Cheyne with two angels supporting the embroidered cushion that her head is resting on. Lady Margaret c. 1419 is buried in Hever, Kent, Great Britain along with Sir Thomas Boleyn father of Queen Anne Boleyn, 2nd wife of Henry VIII. However, there was no relationship between the Cheynes and the Boleyns. Hever was one of the properties that the Boleyn family purchased when they came to power.
This rubbing measures approximately 10 by 18 inches. It will arrive ready for mounting and framing
