This crescent headpiece is a replica of the one worn by Catherine of Aragon in Season 1 of The Tudors and reused by Princess Mary in Season 3 It does not have a veil, like a traditional French hood, and was worn with a black snood by Catherine and with a short black lace veil by Mary. It is often times called a "Crescent"

A sturdy base covered with lush Black Velvet
* Millinery wire to hold the shape
* A lovely gold trim along the top and bottom edges. * Hand sewn 6 mm imported Czech Glass Gold Pearls.
